City of Phoenix Neighborhood Stabilization Program
The Neighborhood Stabilization Program addresses the effect of foreclosures in the city’s hardest hit neighborhoods through renovating vacant and abandoned homes, offering buyers homeownership opportunities and incentives and providing the tools to ensure success in the long-term.
There are two single-family homeownership programs actively seeking owner occupants looking to purchase a foreclosed home in select areas of Phoenix; both provide one-on-one counseling, homebuyer education and a $15,000 zero-interest, no monthly payment loan to use towards closing costs and down payment.
The Move-In Ready Program offers a selection of newly remodeled homes throughout Phoenix featuring sustainable energy-efficient systems, improved design finishes and enhanced curb appeal.
The Home Improvement Program provides up to $55,000 in NSP funding to use toward the purchase of a foreclosed home in need of repair located within twenty-one Phoenix zip codes. Participants receive up to $40,000 in a zero-interest, no monthly payment loan to make necessary home repairs and improvements, plus $15,000 to use toward closing costs and partial down payment.
These programs have been structured to make the dream of homeownership possible for a lucky few. Take advantage while funds are still available. If you think you may qualify and need detailed information on these programs, email me at heena@UrbanCiti.com. Here to assist!
